Introducing the Quantum Web Tension Controller
The Cleveland Motion Controls Quantum is a high feature, low cost web tension controller for use
with tension transducers, dancers, and ultrasonic sensors. By utilizing the lastest microprocessor
technology, Cleveland Motion Controls has made the Quantum Web Tension Controller extremely small
(the size of a postcard). It is configurable for all types of unwinds utilizing magnetic particle
brakes, pneumatic brakes, clutches, or drives. The bulit-in current regulated power supply
eliminates the need for an external power supply when used with a Cleveland Motion Controls magnetic particle brake.
The Quantum Web Tension Controller is easily set up from a laptop computer. All entries are
prompted by windows based PC screens. As an alternative, values can be entered via four keys on
the front panel.
